Originally from Mexico and raised in California, I’m a bicultural and bilingual psychologist with a deep passion for understanding the intricacies of the human mind and the diverse experiences that shape us.

My academic path in mental health started at UC Davis, where I double majored in Psychology (B.A.) and Human Development (B.S.). It was here that I cultivated my fascination with the human psyche and its capacity for growth and transformation. Determined to delve deeper into the field, I continued my education, earning both my master’s (M.A.) and doctorate (Psy.D) in Clinical Psychology from Alliant International University.

Staff psychologist at Children's Hospital of Orange County (CHOC)

Outside of the classroom walls, I have honed my clinical skills at some of California's most renowned hospitals, including an APA-accredited internship at California Pacific Medical Center (CPMC) in San Francisco and an APA-accredited fellowship at Children's Hospital of Los Angeles (CHLA).

As a valued member of multiple interprofessional teams (i.e., craniofacial, feeding, hematology, neuro-oncology), these experiences provided me with specialized training in guiding patients through difficult medical courses and addressing complex psychological needs.

In addition to my private practice, I currently serve as a staff psychologist at Children's Hospital of Orange County (CHOC). Here, I work alongside a dedicated team of primary care clinicians, providing comprehensive care to youth and their families, and nurturing the emotional health of a community that I hold dear.

My journey, bridging cultures and countries, is a testament to my commitment to understanding and supporting the human experience. With my rich background and diverse training, I am dedicated to helping individuals navigate life's challenges and celebrate their unique paths to well-being.
